BSL Machine was founded in 1965 by Joseph F. Blattler & in 2022 Randy & Helene Morton purchased the company from Joseph’s brother, Rudi.

We have continued on in the family tradition, to keep BSL Machine a family-owned business that is committed to serving the industry with integrity and quality.

BSL Machine has approximately 25,000 sq. ft. of shop space to handle all our customers needs.

Experienced & demonstrated history of working in the oil & energy industry, skilled in Negotiation, Operations Management, Engineering, Strategic Planning, and Business Development. Strong entrepreneurship professional with a Journeyman / Red Seal Machinist focused in Machine Tool Technology/Machinist from Northern Alberta Institute of Technology.

Outside of work Randy enjoys staying active by participating in Triathlon’s around North America, including previously the 2024 Penticton Ironman 140.6! As well as spending time running with his wife, Helene, and watching hockey with his family.
